Description: After opening in 1958, Villa Capri became a successful restaurant and hotel located on the off-skirts of the University of Texas campus. These commercials, likely filmed by the local Austin television station, present the high standards of the restaurant's food and catering services. Faced with financial difficulties in the 1980s, the owners of the Villa Capri sold the property to the University of Texas and it was demolished in 1988. The Frank Denius Practice football field now occupies its former location.
