Description: 100ft Kodak Cinegraph release of "Fish for Two", a silent short produced by Emery Bronte under Max Fleischer's Red Seal Pictures. Features the original (albeit unrelated) Lassie of the silver screen. Info of this film online mostly mentions a 1926 date, however upon looking further it was released in 1925, as seen in Film Daily. Excerpt from the New York Times: "During Summers at Barnegat Bay in New Jersey, Lassie learned how to dive by following the example of her young masters. This accomplishment was incorporated by Bronte in a one-reel film featuring Lassie, "Fish for Two," which was shown at the Capitol Theatre in New York. The principal characters were Lassie, a ten-year-old boy and a fish. In the course of the story Lassie tempted the boy away from his woodsawing to go fishing Later she had an opportunity to save the boy from drowning by diving for him three times and swimming with him to shore. Print was also a little warped and shaky, applied stabilization.
