These 1965 promotional outtakes captures the first flight of the newest member of the Trans-Texas Airways (TTa) fleet: the Convair CV-600. Previously known as Aviation Enterprises and later known as Texas International Airways, TTa was a Houston-based airline with passenger service to airports across the United States and multiple in Mexico. The company merged with Continental Airlines in 1982, which merged with United Airlines in 2010.
