Description: Shows methods and uses of making a fireline - a line made or used to stop the spread of a bushfire. The fire is contained with a strip either man-made or mechanically made. Defines fire-edge and fire-head, and then demonstrates two techniques of fire fighting: parallel attack and direct attack. Suggests methods of controlling fire crews and recommends safe clothing.
