we firemen would get on our fire trucks and start out for the school as quickly as possible as soon as we got to the school we would go to work to put out the fire we'd attach our hoses to the water hydrant we'd get our ladders ready but your job would be to get out of the building quickly and safely and stay out of the way of the firemen
