An LST burns after an air attack. Fighter pilots are briefed in England and fly a bomber escort mission. Gun cameras record the downing of German planes. Reel 2, a chaplain conducts services in the tropics. An enemy railway station is strafed. Rolling stock is repaired at a captured railway terminal. Gen. MacArthur orders an attack on Lae, New Guinea; paratroops take off and a smoke screen is laid during the jump.
