Filbert and the melon cheater: subtraction with borrowing

Introduces two digit subtraction problems, including those which require regrouping, through an animated story about the problems of an honest melon merchant. Filbert devises an accounting system called “dump a box” based on subtraction with borrowing to try to stop a melon thief. Suitable for upper primary level.
