Description: Illustrates simple subtraction in groups of ten through an animated story about the problems of an honest melon merchant. Records how Filbert devises an accounting system called "dump a box" which is based on subtraction with borrowing to try to stop a melon thief. Shows how "dump a box" becomes the key to Filbert's subtraction problems and to catching the thief.
