Fences

Description: Early colonial settlers ran sheep on huge unenclosed areas of grazing lands, but when gold was discovered shepherds left the sheep-runs and flocked to the gold-fields. Sheep were “enclosed” and later fences were erected as protection against rabbits and wild dogs.
