Description: Presents an animated story in which a friendly little hedgehog almost falls prey to an enchanting cat that plans to eat him. Without narration. This soft-hued whimsical animated tale chronicles the problems a friendly little hedgehog encounters when, caught up in lively music, it tries to persuade some neighbors to join a happy dance. Put off by the hedgehog’s prickly spines, they all refuse to come near the dance. The little hedgehog is disappointed and dejected until a beautiful angora cat offers a solution - why not simply remove some of those troublesome spines. Elated, the hedgehog rushes off for a close shave and returns to the delighted cat, and both whisk into a vivacious waltz. But ... our little friend discovers all too soon the folly of compromise with the enchanting cat.
