Description: Five days after the Japanese attacked Pearl harbor, the F.B.I. arrested Masuo Yasui, a 30-year resident of the United States, as a potentially dangerous enemy alien. Decades later, the filmmaker who is Masuo's granddaughter, searches for stories concerning her Japanese American family's experiences during World War II. A collage of home movies, photographs, and archival footage chronicle the myths, memories and silences of this family during a tragic period.
