Description: Originally produced in 1980 as a film and video installation composed of a 10 ft. by 12 ft. white wall, 2 super-8 mm films, one 3/4 in. videotape, one 25 in. video monitor, one audio amplifier, and 2 audio speakers.; This reel consists of the content both super-8 channels of the installation piece joined together.; Title appears on screen as a series of letters: EXIL; EXILÉ; ILE; É; É E.; Original Berkeley Art Museum accession number for film channel originals: 1992.4.290.; Pacific Film Archive collection; non-circulating.
