Ethiopia advances

An account of the work of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations in helping Ethiopia make best use of her fertile land. FAO experts’ recommendations included the use of labour saving farm implements; importation of new seeds to improve local crop; the setting up of an experimental seed growing station; the vaccination of Zebu cattle against Rinderpest.
