Erik Satie and the King of the Beans - Part II

In this charming scene, a whimsical and eccentric composer — Erik Satie — welcomes a rare guest into his private room, playfully dubbing him "King of the Beans" and declaring him the first outsider ever granted entry. Satie shows off his quirky drawings and explains his lifelong pursuit of fun and humor, dismissing stuffy, self-important musicians who would never appreciate his unconventional works. After a brief, lighthearted musical interlude and a small mishap involving a woman, the visit draws to a close, with Satie announcing that the new piece he had performed would be titled "The War Song of the King of the Beans." The narrator closes by reflecting that although Satie is gone, his spirit and personality live on through his music.
