[Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Let's pretend that it's a sunny morning a long time ago in the city of Paris. At that time, a man named Eric Thati lived in a little room on the roof of a tall building. He was a composer and he wrote music mostly for the piano. Some of his pieces had funny titles like the walts of the chocolate with almonds and to be jealous of one's playmate who has a big head. No one knows exactly how Eric Sauti thought up these titles, but let's imagine that this story tells how he happened to call one of his songs the war song of the king of the beans. Why do you carry a hammer? Are you a carpenter? Young man, I am a composer. Carpenter indeed. This hammer is merely a precautionary measure. Paris is many things to many people. I do not intend to be a victim of foot pads. Thieves. Young man. Thieves. What about you? Are you a thief? H Oh, no, sir. Not me. Well, you see me and my dog Lucenne, we were running away from home and I got I was climbing this wall and I slipped and got my arm cut and I couldn't get it [Music] free. I see. So, you're running away. Why? Well, I guess because my mom doesn't like Lucian very much. And because she makes me eat things I hate, like beans. I hate green beans. And because I'm old enough to be out on my own, that's why. And what's your name, Mr. Green Bean Hater? Leroy. Leroy. Did you know that that means the king? That's what I shall call you, the king. The king of the beans. So come now, Mr. King of the beans. You're keeping me from my walk. As long as you're running away and I'm taking my walk, we might as well go together. Follow me, sir.
