Description: Scenes of London, the countryside of Britain, the sea and the coast are used to illustrate a commentary consisting mainly of extracts from English literary works. Scenes include: Tower Bridge, Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Thames, Houses of Parliament, Hyde Park, Glastonbury Abbey, York Minster, Stratford, the Lake District, the southern coastline.
