Visually, hands in CU moving across the slide ruler numbers with gestures that could be considered a ‘hand dance’ over the mysteries of numbers.

An unintended gesture is used by the professor as he points with his third finger. Thereby he looks like he is giving ‘the bird’ to numbers. I figure that the gesture was determined best to keep most of the hand out of the image.
