Emf - Electromotive Force

Shows that the energy transfers shown in the film 'ELEMENTARY CHARGES AND TRANSFER OF KINETIC ENERGY' are independent of the geometry of the electrodes in the diode. Demonstrates the energy per elementary charge delivered by a battery, its EMF, depends only on the chemical make-up of the battery. Extends the concept of EMF to describe any device which transforms energy by separating elementary charges.
