The legends, myths and, history of this eternal city are conveyed through historical and contemporary film. Despite its own tortured existence throughout the ages, Jerusalem, Wiesel believes, is of deep spiritual significance for the world, a focus always feeding the spring of man's eternal hope for a world of peace.
