Westinghouse. Explains the six basic functions of electronic tubes and shows how each type of tube is used in industrial applications. Animated drawings showing tube construction are used to explain how the cathode, anode and grid elements rectify, amplify, generate, control, transform light into electric current and transform electric current into light. Precipitron, radio and radio-telephone, high frequency induction heating, television are used to show how the tubes perform.
