Description: Centered in New York City's East Harlem community, this film shows Puerto Rican communities responding to racial discrimination, poor city services, environmental injustice, and lack of education and occupational opportunities with direct action. Shows the activist group Young Lords Organization organizing and building healthcare and community service programs and raising consciousness against injustice.
