CBPF.; This film, approved by the American College of Surgeons, illustrates congenital malformation of the heart in three forms: abdominal, cervical, and pectoral, then shows live footage of an infant with a pectoral heart and its "monstrosity" twin. Shots include: labelling lack of sternum, diaphragm covering liver, umbilicus, cleft palate, and hare lip; application of warm salt water to heart, electrocardiograph tracing eight hours before death, X- rays and post-mortems of both infants, and the judgement that some cervical or abdominal heart patients survive, but most succumb soon after birth.; Copyright: Eastman Teaching Films, Inc. ; 1929.; PFA 1604-01-3673.
