Fit for work, he gets a job as a policeman and soon finds himself face to face with the meanest tough on Easy Street. The ruffian tries to impress Charlie with his strength and bends down a gas lamppost. Seeing a grand opportunity, Charlie jumps on his back, shoves the man's head into the lamp, and turns on the gas. The unconscious tough is hauled off to jail, and Charlie is hailed a hero, but it isn't long before the brute breaks out of prison, looking for revenge. Once again Easy Street becomes a battlefield, until Charlie saves the day by dropping a stove on the tough"--Videodisc sleeve.; PFA 1608-01-15459. D0003; PFA 1606-01-14487.
