Easter Island: Puzzle of the Pacific

Easter Island: The mystery story of a small south Pacific Island famous for its giant stone figures, twenty to seventy feet high, unlike those of any other time or place. Set on stone platforms these figures, with their backs to the sea, stand for miles like an army at attention.

Scenes of the ocean, the statues, an excavation, aerial shots of the island, current inhabitants of the island dancing, model reconstruction demonstration how the statues might have been moved, ancient writings, a church currently on the island, ancient burial grounds.
