Duck & Pheasant Hunting with a Pet Cheetah

Year Published: 1935

Creator: Field & Stream

Description: Join Eltinge Warner and Woolworth Donahue on a hunt, dragging along their pet cheetah! (or, "Chetah" as they spelled it). This silent film was released by Field & Stream beginning in March of 1935, available to rent from their magazine. Film took a lot of work! It was stained, water damaged and had vinegar syndrome, so it was quite warped and in poor shape. Made a special gate for my scanner that could help hold it flatter; and did a ton of scene-by-scene adjustments and corrections. The opening title may be missing, but I am not sure. "Ever Hunt Pheasants and Ducks with a Chetah?" appears to be the original title, original ad can be seen here: https://archive.org/details/sim_field-stream_1935-03_39_11/page/94/mode/2up As the warping was much more noticeable/distracting on the titles, I used a single corrected still frame and then re-implemented those into the film with effects and recreated transitions to make it appear more authentic. Regarding use of corrected scan, please reach out.
