The Sneetches, The Zax, Green Eggs and Ham. Dr. Seuss explores the world of attitudes in three short stories: each is a ‘reductio ad absurdum' of the human tendency. The Sneetches nearly destroy themselves with their furor to conform by having the latest prestige symbol; the Zax, by their resistance to change. The reluctance to try something new is exposed as folly in Green Eggs and Ham.
