Sign in to track this film in your collection or want list.
Dr. Nhan is one of the many "boat people' who emigrated to Canada from Vietnam in the late 1970s. When she arrived in Vancouver she learned that although she had practised acupuncture in Saigon for many years, British Columbia law does not recognize her profession. Describes Dr. Nhan's life and career prior to her arrival in Canada, from her early years in China through her respected medical career in Vietnam, and documents her efforts to overcome the obstacles that prevent her from using her knowledge in her new homeland.
