This home movie captures scenes of Dow Chemical employees, including Dr. A.P. Beutel, Dow’s first Texas-division manager, fishing on Harris Reservoir in the Brazos River area. Dr. Beutel, his son Richard Beutel, and other Lake Jackson residents are fishing, smoking, and viewing hurricane or storm damage along the reservoir. It is likely that Dr. Beutel was shooting the film as he is only briefly on screen.
