Divide and conquer

Description: Episode number 3 of Series “Why we fight”. This third film in the “Why we fight” series records the German invasion of Denmark, Poland, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg and France, illustrating methods of attack and emphasising the part played by propaganda and the fifth column in the campaign. Concludes with the surrender of France, including sequences on the evacuation of Dunkirk and the emergence of General de Gaulle as the leader of French resistance outside France.
