Explains that hue is the name (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet) given to each part of the spectrum; the value of a hue can be changed by adding black or white: and the intensity of a hue can be lowered by adding its complementary color. Compares and contrasts primary, and secondary hues, warm and cold hues, and opposite and complementary hues. Describes the relationship between light and color.
