Differential Topology, Lecture 2

Presents a lecture by Professor John Milnor in which he defines manifold for the piecewise-linear and topological categories. He discusses the poincare conjecture from each of the four viewpoints and introduces the J H C Whitehead theory of C1-triangulations and the notion of tangent bundle.
