Did You Hear What I Said?: A Journalism Career Film

Follows Frank Ritter, a young reporter for the Nashville Tennessean, as he works on his first big assignment -- school dropouts. He interviews students, teachers, ministers, and community leaders. He discusses his progress with his editor, John Siegenthaler. The newspaper's editorial board, in turn, critiques the story in a frank and revealing conference.
