[Music] this scene might portray a quiet picnic somewhere in America but wait until you see what this attractive young lady is watching as she quietly eats her luncheon no these are not cows in a pasture they are wilderbeast gazel and zebras Wild game on Africa's famous zenetti Plains and our modern Diana is looking for the kind of Adventure that is usually read about but seldom [Music] seen in a safari Across The Plains of Africa am a girl is certain to have some exciting experiences here's one to remember a newborn baby wilderbeast which the approach of the car has made a temporary orphan Beauty and the Beast he doesn't seem to mind being petty but why should he mama and papa will the beach and a lot of uncles and ants and maybe cousins nervously watch the proceedings from a safe distance but who wants a baby wilderbeast except a baby Wilder BEAST's mother it's nice to have met you little fellow now grow big and strong and keep away from Hungry Lions another day what will it bring vultur they are always mean tragedy on the African plains let's investigate Diana wants to see [Music] everything rhinoceros one of the most dangerous of beasts careful is he just lying down no there's one sure thing about vultures they always tell the truth tragedy it is this rhino was recently killed by another of its kind in Mortal battle the Victor is probably still nearby he would not be a nice fellow to meet better not stay here very long [Music] [Music] to the vultures belong The Spoils of tragedy and they lose little time in gathering from seemingly nowhere for the feast [Music] there are many ways to cross a crocodile infested stream and Swinging across monkey Fashion on a jungle Vine is one of the oldest [Music] move over ape man here we come [Music] [Music] the pistol shots are to scare the crocodiles away Diana crosses her fingers and takes off when wandering about the African Wilds most experiences are thrilling one way or another but they're not all dangerous some of the scenes are Charming [Music] this mother giraffe with her baby twins for example some twins aren't [Music] they and here is poetry in slow motion grotesque poetry though it may be notice how their heads rise above the Treetops as they go loping away [Music] but there are many more things to see and do this River can't be crossed by swinging on a vine it's the famous Tana crocodiles are its principal inhabitants and a human being is considered a delicacy by the these reptiles firing shots into the stream before Crossing is an old technique used by Ivory traders to clear a path through infested waters so off with the boots and across they go Crocs or no [Music] crops careful hippos this coffee colored water could be hiding all kinds of perils but it's too late to turn back [Music] now what a nice morsel for a big old crocodile finally the opposite Bank of the river is reached and all members are safely accounted [Music] for when the party returns to the vicinity of the unfortunate Rino they see that a change has taken place and what a change hundreds of V ERS have within a few hours devoured the two ton Beast only the bare skeleton remains these are rhino horns capable of punching holes through a steel automobile body or the tough hide of an elephant actually they are not horns at all but a strange hard growth of hair which drops off after death the native witch doctors use these horns for and ritual purposes elephants of all the wild beasts of Africa the elephant is the most likely to be dangerous his charge is terrific and most difficult to [Music] stop they are on all sides look out for the charge there he comes when an elephant charges there's only one thing to do stop him before he gets to [Music] you the Fallen Pachyderm is approached with caution 7 tons of primitive danger and universally considered one of the world's most spectacular big games G [Music] trophies what about our girlfriend well if she appears a little B draggled and maybe a trifle uncertain about it all just remember that she's had quite a [Music] Time the other members of the party returned to get the elephant tropy but Diana decides that a baby [ __ ] and the Comforts of Camp are exciting enough to close her African holiday [Music]
