Description: Describes one of the largest known cells, the hen's egg, and through microcinematography and macrocinematography shows the actual formation of some chick organs. Explains fertilization, diagrams the primitive streak and the three developing layers of tissue, and continues using time-lapse photography to shows brain formation and development of the eye of the embryo. Demonstrates the growth of chick embryos outside the egg in a culture chamber.
