Description: Shows various forms of art expression in different grades and shows how art can be coordinated with other subjects. Presents the use of clay and crayons in kindergarten for art expression, the value of music in helping children express rhythm in finger painting, and a visit to the zoo for freehand drawing. Points out how artistic expression can be coordinated with geography, arithmetic, and music. Demonstrates freehand drawing, the use of water colors, crayon and pencil sketching, clay and soap sculpturing, and the value of linoleum blocks and movable cut-out animals as art forms in junior high school.
