Description: A silent motion picture with music and German subtitles. Tells the story of an aging hotel doorkeeper, who is demoted to cleaning toilets and must surrender his fancy uniform just when he needed it to make a good impression at his niece's wedding. Continues as he sees no alternative but to steal it back, and is discovered and humiliated. Ends happily when he is last seen enjoying the fortune he unexpectedly inherited from an American millionaire.
