Description: Production date, credits, and summary taken from fifth annual Hong Kong Film Festival program (1981).; There are two known versions of this film in Hong Kong: one banned version (95 min.), one released version (92 min.). The contents of the two versions are different reflecting the strict censorship of a specific period in Hong Kong film history. This print (96 min.) does not represent either version. Middle-class schoolboy Paul takes a late joyride in his father's car with his working-class friends Ah Go and Ah Loong; they hit and kill a pedestrian. Their crime is witnessed by Pearl (sister of police constable Ah Dan), who soon after resigns from her job in a printing factory and traces the boys to their school. They are disturbed by her obvious instability and her tendency towards violence, but they can only comply when she insists that they join her in a robbery. The attempt is a fiasco, but Pearl proves hard to shake off.
