Dance on a May day

In 1976, ballet dancer Jacques d'Amboise founded the National Dance Institute to introduce dance to boys. On an afternoon in May 1977, the boys gave a spirited performance at New York's Lincoln Center. This film documents the project and captures d'Amboise and his students in interviews as well as rigorous practice sessions.
