Daddy, Don't Be Silly: A Case for Equal Rights

Examines the Equal Rights Amendment, how it came into existence, and how its ratification would affect the lives of men and women. Focuses on the experiences of three individuals who did not receive equal treatment because of sex discrimination and explains what ratification of the ERA would mean. Samples opinions of men and women who are in favor of and opposed to the proposed amendment, including Judge Burnita Matthews, one of the authors of the original ERA. Written and narrated by Bill Moyers.
