Description: Follows a female coyote as she selects a den in the springtime, gives birth to four pups, gathers food for her offspring, changes her den because of the threat of a hungry cougar and teaches her pups how to hunt. Presents the young coyotes as they live from day to day, exploring the countryside, playing with each other and learning how to reproduce the mournful cry of their mother.
