Country doctor

The daily activity of a doctor in general practice in a small English country town. In addition to his ceaseless duties among his patients, the country doctor is also a family man, with hobbies and interests outside his professional work and a keen participant in communal affairs. Some of the services available to the doctor and patient under the National Health Service are illustrated.
