Cotton Belt: Today and Yesterday

Tells the story of the changes that have taken place in the cotton-growing areas of the Southern United States. Describes the early importance of cotton as a money crop and the modern, less dominant cotton-growing activities which have been mechanized in an area rather recently industrialized and urbanized.
