Description: Produced by the Houston-based Bob Bailey Productions, this 1970s industrial film promotes the use of gas grills and appliances for outdoor cooking. Demonstrating al fresco cooking techniques from French, American, Hawaiian, Japanese, Korean, and Middle Eastern cuisine, the film highlights the benefits of gas appliances as well as helpful accessories such as the power rotisserie for rotating foods over the gas range. The film was presented by the American Gas Association and the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association.Formed in the mid-1930s, the Houston-based Bob Bailey Productions produced mostly industrial and educational films for area oil, natural gas, and petrochemical companies, but also made newsreels for Fox and Movietone.
