CONQUERING THE COLORADO

"A story of 'Buzz' Holmstrum's conquest, alone in a small row boat, on the Colorado River. While the excellent camera work and good narrative recommend the picture as an achievement story, it is unusual in some detail. 'Presents scenes along the river from Green River Lake to Boulder Dam, featuring the drama of the man against the river, the rushing currents and treacherous shoals.' Holmstrum, an Oregon rancher mechanic, realized his dream of adventure. Usable at any age level." Advisory committee
