Description: Colonel Jethro E. Culpepper is the fictitious leader of the 7,000-member Confederate Air Force, an organization with 89 vintage aircraft that operates out of Halingen, Texas. The organization promotes American patriotism and ensures that citizens never forget the aviation splendor of World War II. Reporter Ian Wooldridge investigates this conservative group which is part club and part high-powered air corps with full-time engineers and office personnel.
