Clown of God

Giovanni, a lengendary juggler, had once brought smiles and joy to all. Now, penniless and old, he returns to his birthplace seeking refuge in the church on Christmas Eve. Watching the procession of gifts for the Holy Child, he offers the only gift he has--one last performance. His simple faith is rewarded by a miracle that touches all who see it. Based on the ALA Notable Book by Tomie de Paola. Vibrant illustrations and the sounds of flute, recorder, and strings provide an authentic Renaissance setting for this animated film.
