Clothing: a pair of blue jeans

Takes a pair of jeans as an item of clothing to provide basis for a lesson in economics and clothing manufacture. Uses a lyrical ballad to illustrate the concepts, following the process of making jeans from cotton fields to the boy who buys the new pair, together with a brief history of the garments.
