Tells the Czechoslovakian tale of a girl who marries a judge but is told that she must never interfere with any of his rulings. Reveals that when Manka does interfere, she is banished and allowed to take only the one thing she values most. Shows how she drugs her husband and takes him, thus helping the judge see how much he values her and making him decide to appoint her as a judge., In this Czech folktale, Manka is promised a cow by her uncle as payment for the hard work she performed at his house. When he reneges on his agreement, Manka's father brings the uncle before the judge. The magistrate falls in love with Manka and asks her to marry him on the condition that she never interfere with his decisions. One day, Manka intervenes and is banished but redeems herself through an ingenious trick.
