Classifying Animals and Our Place in the Animal Kingdom

Traces the classification of one animal identified by different common names as puma, cougar or mountain lion. Explains that this is just one species, one of a million different species of animals known to scientists. Describes how humans also are only one species, Homo sapiens, no matter what the origins may have been.
