Description: There are at least three elements involved in story-telling: the sounds of the story (speech), the movements involved in the telling (gestures), and the person to whom the story is being told (the listener/watcher). In this film, these three elements form the three characters: the ventriloquist, the mime, and the deaf-mute. They tell the story of story-telling, riding the circus-go-round of show and tell, before finally concluding that the more actively involved with the present moment they become, the more impossible the act of depiction (of any moment) becomes.
